Photos on Resumes

Photos or No Photos: This is debatable. Some people (mostly HR) specifically do not like photos on resumes because it can cause an "unconscious bias" and that is not great. However, you have a link to your LinkedIn profile and that has your photo on it. Some people really like the photo because it humanizes your resume. We have found that it works great in younger, smaller, and non-government companies in fields like sales and marketing. We tend to always put your photo on if you want it. It is easy to click and delete without changing the format. You get a choice when starting this process if you want one or not.

If you want a photo, you don't have to pay a professional for a headshot unless you are in a top executive or influencer type of role. The portrait phone mode, today, takes beautiful shallow depth-of-field photos. Get a friend, colleague, or loved one to take a good headshot of you.

LinkedIn Profile Development

LinkedIn Profile Development:

We only charge $100 for LinkedIn because we are mirroring the resume on the LinkedIn so that it acts as a digital resume. We do this method because it is the best for recruiters to find you and download a ‘digital resume'. Like the resume, it is completely subjective, and you will find many different comments on how to best develop your resume and LinkedIn profile. You have to look at the biggest result you want from it, and tailor your content to that. In this case, we are building this to get you more recruiter and hiring authority traction. If you wish to change areas when we finish like your headline or photos, we can make small adjustments. Otherwise, if you want something more customized to your personal preference, you will have to do this yourself or pay an additional amount of $100 and we will jump on a virtual call and work together to build it for 30 minutes.
